The Old Globe in San Diego seeks a full-time Associate Director of Major Gifts to secure at least $2 million annually from individual donors giving at the $12,500 level and above. The Associate Director manages a portfolio of roughly 100 to 120 major gift prospects and donors, including select Board members, and owns the full giving cycle: prospecting, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, renewal, and upgrade, personally closing five- and six-figure asks. The role builds individualized donor strategies, maintains disciplined pipeline and Tessitura records, and represents the Globe at performances and donor events. Candidates need five or more years of fundraising experience with major gifts success, portfolio management skills, and exceptional communication skills. Occasional evening and weekend work is required.
