Berkeley Rep is hiring part-time, show-based concessions staff for its Berkeley theatres. Working Tuesdays through Sundays, mostly evenings and holidays, this over-hire role greets patrons, takes and prepares concession orders, handles point-of-sale transactions accurately, and keeps service areas stocked, clean, and organized. Staff follow food-handling and responsible beverage-service standards, learn the menu and current promotions, and help create a welcoming front-of-house experience before performances, at intermission, and after shows. Applicants must be over 21, bring strong customer-service and communication skills, and be comfortable standing for long periods in a fast-paced environment. Bartending or food-service experience is welcome but training is provided.
