South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa is continuously accepting experienced Prop Artisans into its overhire pool. Overhires are engaged project to project, starting at $20 per hour depending on experience, and should bring skills across carpentry, craft work, furniture building and restoration, upholstery, stitching, painting, metal working, and welding. Applicants need applicable training or equivalent professional experience, comfort working at heights, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and strong communication and collaboration skills; a fine art background and experience in a fast-paced shop environment are pluses. To be considered, email a resume to the props contact listed on SCR's employment page. No phone calls, please.
