Trinity Repertory Company in Providence is hiring a part-time Security and Property Assistant, about 20 hours per week, reporting to the Security and Property Supervisor. The assistant helps keep Trinity Rep's buildings welcoming and safe: monitoring fire and security systems including cameras, performing safety checks and walk-throughs, directing patrons and visitors, distributing and collecting assisted listening devices, and resolving or relaying customer service issues. The role works closely with house services staff during performances to prevent and de-escalate disturbances, and supports larger facilities projects as needed. Frequent night and weekend work is required. Professional experience or training in security or retail is preferred, along with an interest in the arts and the ability to move objects up to 50 pounds.
