The Smith Center for the Performing Arts in Las Vegas is hiring on-call Ushers. Ushers are the audience's guides inside the hall: checking and scanning tickets, directing patrons to their seats, handing out programs, answering questions about the building, and helping the house open, seat latecomers and clear safely after the performance. Work is scheduled around the performance calendar, mostly evenings and weekends, and suits someone courteous, observant and comfortable on their feet. The posting pays $17.00 per hour.
