Built in 1998 on the combined sites of the demolished Lyric and Apollo theatres, incorporating elements of both facades and the Lyric's interior dome. It opened as the Ford Center for the Performing Arts with Ragtime and later operated as the Hilton and Foxwoods theatres. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has played the house since 2018.

The house is in the Theater District, within walking distance of the Times Square-42nd Street subway and transit hub.
